One Customer View - October Update 14/10
Hi 1CV Users,
There have been a few changes which have gone live this month.
- Property Address Search Improvements
We’ve adjusted how the system reads and indexes addresses. Previously, only owned properties were included. Now, every user in OCV will have both their current address and any owned properties displayed.
When searching for a user, you’ll now see two separate columns: Current Address and Owned Properties, as shown in the screenshot from the demo OCV below.
We’ve also refactored the address search logic to improve accuracy. For example, searches like “5 Name Street” will now only return exact matches instead of all addresses containing the number 5. As well as now searching in the Current Address and Owned Properties columns.
- Duplicate Records
This issue is still present due to two separate records in the system, one using a single surname and another with multiple surnames. The version with a single surname correctly lists two dogs and a cat.
Since One Customer View pulls data directly from Pathway, this duplication is reflected there as well.
- Requests Table vs Graph Layout
We explored swapping the placement of the requests table and graph. After consulting with other councils, the consensus was to keep the graph above the notes, as it gives users a quick overview before reviewing the details.
- Rates – Transaction Drill Down
We also discussed removing the Transaction Drill Down field with our other clients, and they were all in support of the change. It has now been removed. This allowed us to streamline the interface and introduce cleaner, more consistent tables across multiple tabs.
Please let us know if you’d like any additional adjustments or a demo walkthrough of these updates.
